What Prenatal Infusion Supports

Pregnancy is beautiful, demanding, and depleting — often all at the same time. Between morning sickness, fatigue, and the increased nutrient demands of growing a baby, many expecting mothers find it difficult to stay adequately hydrated and nourished through diet alone. When nausea makes it hard to eat or drink, the gap between what your body needs and what you can keep down grows fast.

The Prenatal Infusion is designed to support hydration and replenish key nutrients commonly depleted during pregnancy — including B-Complex, B12, and Magnesium. For mothers experiencing nausea beyond the first trimester, optional Zofran may be added to provide relief. Every session is reviewed and approved by our physician with your pregnancy stage and health history in mind.

This infusion is commonly chosen by expecting mothers dealing with morning sickness, dehydration from nausea, or simply the energy demands of pregnancy. It's also popular with mothers in their second and third trimesters who want proactive nutrient support during a time when their body is giving everything it has.

Who Chooses Prenatal Infusion?

  • Morning sickness and nausea

You can barely keep water down, let alone food or prenatal vitamins. You're dehydrated, exhausted, and worried about getting the nutrients you and your baby need. IV delivery bypasses your stomach entirely.

  • Pregnancy fatigue

You're in your second or third trimester and the fatigue is relentless. You're doing everything right, but your body needs more than sleep and snacks to keep up with the demands of growing a baby.

  • Nutrient support during pregnancy

You want to make sure you're getting adequate B vitamins, magnesium, and hydration — especially if dietary restrictions, food aversions, or a busy schedule make it hard to eat as well as you'd like.

  • High-demand pregnancy

You're managing pregnancy alongside work, other kids, or a physically active lifestyle. You want extra support to help you keep up without running yourself into the ground.

What's in This Infusion

Normal Saline
Medical-grade hydration that restores fluid balance — especially important when nausea and vomiting make oral hydration difficult.
B-Complex
Essential B vitamins that support energy production, fetal development, and help your body manage the increased metabolic demands of pregnancy.
Methylcobalamin (B12)
The active form of Vitamin B12, which supports red blood cell production, neurological development, and energy metabolism during pregnancy.
Magnesium
An essential mineral that supports muscle relaxation, may help reduce cramping, and plays an important role in fetal bone development and maternal nervous system health.
Optional: Zofran
An anti-nausea medication that may be added for mothers beyond the first trimester who are experiencing persistent nausea. Its inclusion is always determined by our physician based on your pregnancy stage and health history.

Prenatal Infusion FAQ

Our physician reviews every expecting mother's health history, current trimester, and any complications before approving an infusion. The nutrients in this blend are commonly used to support pregnancy, and your safety is our top priority.
Our protocol does not include Zofran during the first trimester. If you're experiencing severe first-trimester nausea, our physician can discuss what's appropriate for your situation.
While we don't require a referral, we always encourage you to discuss IV therapy with your OB provider. Our physician reviews your health history independently and can coordinate with your OB if needed.
Frequency depends on your individual needs. Some mothers come in weekly during severe nausea periods, while others schedule sessions every few weeks for general support. Our physician will guide you.
The hydration and nutrient replenishment may help support your body during bouts of morning sickness, and optional Zofran (after the first trimester) can provide direct nausea relief. Many clients report feeling significantly better after their session.
